GRAND FORKS — The official groundbreaking for the Altru Sports Complex will be at 9 a.m. Friday, June 27, near the Grand Forks Alerus Center.
The event will take place in the parking lot next to the Hugo's BMX track, according to a city release sent to the media. The ceremony is open to the public.
Speakers will include Mayor Brandon Bochenski, along with representatives from Altru Health System, the Grand Forks Parks District, McGough Construction and JLG Architects.
Members of the City Council will attend and, according to the city release, it's possible a quorum may be present.
