Dakorien Moore hasn’t played a down of regular season college football yet, but EA Sports already sees him as a star in the making.
Upon the release of EA's "College Football 26" on Thursday, the Oregon freshman wideout was revealed as the game’s highest-rated true freshman, earning an 84 overall rating.
A list of the game's top freshmen, published by On3 on Thursday, ranks Moore ahead of Clemson’s Gideon Davidson (83), LSU’s Harlem Berry (83), and Georgia’s Elijah Griffin (82), among others. Notably, Moore and Texas commit Kaliq Lockett were the only wide receivers to crack the top-10.
The recognition comes as little surprise to those following Moore’s rise. A consensus five-star prospect and the No. 1 wide receiver in the 2026 class, Moore turned heads at Oregon’s spring game, reeling in a highlight-reel sideline catch that reminded Ducks fans why he was so highly coveted on the trail.

With Evan Stewart recovering from injury and quarterback Dante Moore drawing national Heisman buzz, Dakorien could play a major role in Oregon’s offense sooner than expected. If EA’s ratings are any indication, Moore isn’t just a breakout candidate, he’s already viewed as one of the most dangerous freshmen in college football.
The Ducks will be in action when they host Montana State on Saturday, August 30. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. PST at Autzen Stadium.
