1 day ago 3

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves had already revealed who the DLC characters would be that would complement the roster of fighters. While the big surprise was the arrival of Street Fighter characters in an impressive crossover with Capcom’s fighting game, one of SNK’s and this iconic franchise’s most beloved characters will arrive first. As part of the CEO 2025 tournament, the first details of the return of Andy Bogard, the master of the Shiranui fighting style, have been revealed, as well as the date on which he will be available in the game.

In the trailer, we can see several of the new moves Andy will bring to the title, promising quick attacks and grabs designed to subdue his opponents. In addition to being a playable character in combat, Andy will also have his own path within the game’s RPG mode, Episodes of South Town. The official trailer description gives us more information about his story: “Master of Shiranui-style melee combat (taijutsu). This legendary South Town shinobi currently works with Mai in her clan’s village, where he helps train its youth. Now that his pupil Hokutomaru has come into his own, Andy longs for the day when the two can square up in a real bout,” reads the description.

Andy Bogard will be arriving on June 24, 2025.

The return of a fighting classic

It took more than 20 years for us to receive a new Fatal Fury title, and it was worth the wait. We commented that “Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is an invitation to revisit South Town after 26 years. Although its characters haven’t had the same spotlight as other SNK characters, their presence is still felt. The title remains a game with a solid foundation, with all the elements that made it one of the most important of the genre.
