A Novant Health helicopter experienced mechanical issues during a flight, according to the Forsyth County Fire Division.On Saturday shortly after 10:30 a.m., Forsyth County Communications dispatched an alert response for a medical helicopter reporting mechanical difficulties en route to Smith Reynolds Airport.According to officials, the aircraft, identified as Novant Health AirLink 4, was carrying three personnel aboard when mechanical issues were reported in flight. Luckily, they were not transporting a patient. Emergency protocols were immediately followed and air traffic control coordinated with necessary agencies to ensure the quick arrival of emergency apparatus to the crash site. A Novant Health helicopter experienced mechanical issues during a flight, according to the Forsyth County Fire Division.

According to officials, the aircraft, identified as Novant Health AirLink 4, was carrying three personnel aboard when mechanical issues were reported in flight.
