National sports committee approves several boys lacrosse rule changes with focus on player safety

Syracuse, N.Y. — Just one year after the addition of the shot clock to Section III boys lacrosse, another wave of rule changes could be on the way.

The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Board of Directors approved 12 rule changes proposed by the organization’s rules Committee for the upcoming spring season during its annual meeting in June.
