Wayne Noel - Assistant Sports Performance Coach - Women's Golf Support Staff

Wayne Noel began his tenure at Bradley in the Spring of 2025, taking on responsibilities with the Braves Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, and Men’s/Women’s Golf Programs. Wayne spent the previous year working as an assistant strength & conditioning coach at the University of Nevada Reno under Matt Eck, leading the Wolfpack Men’s/Women’s Tennis and Track & Field programs while serving as lead assistant for baseball and Steve Alford’s men’s basketball program.

Prior to UNR, Wayne spent two years working in the private sector at K’s Academy, specializing in strength and skills training with baseball and softball athletes of all ages; many of whom went on to pursue careers in college and professional level athletics. During his college career, Wayne served as a full time strength & conditioning intern at Creighton University under Dan Bailey and his staff, as well as at Washington State University. Wayne holds a strong belief in the necessity for versatility as a coach.

This has served him well in working with a variety of men’s and women’s teams from basketball and baseball to softball, track, tennis, golf and rowing. He believes in fostering positive interpersonal relationships with sport coaches, strength coaching colleagues and other allied staff in ensuring a cohesive approach to provision of services for all athletes. Wayne graduated from Indiana State University in 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Science with a Minor in Strength & Conditioning. 

His certifications include CSCS, SCCC, FRCms, USTFCCCA Speed Specialist, and USAW Level 1. Having lived in seven different states to date, Wayne loves travel and new experiences. He also enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and playing golf in his spare time.
